The Performing Arts Center (PAC) at 秋葵视频 is excited to present the Reduced Shakespeare Company鈥檚 performance of 鈥淭he Complete History of Comedy (abridged)鈥� on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 pm. The Reduced Shakespeare Company is a three-man comedy troupe that leads the audience through 105 minutes of fast, funny, and physical sketches exploring what makes us laugh, including wordplay, music, improv and everyone鈥檚 new favorite comedy bit, the top ten list. Called 鈥渢he Bad Boys of Abridgment,鈥� they have performed the world over, including off-Broadway and at the White House, the Kennedy Center and London鈥檚 West End. Their performance of 鈥淭he Complete History of Comedy (abridged)鈥� has been called 鈥渁 non-stop laugh fest鈥� by critics. While covering comedy through the ages from the Greek master of laughs – Aristophanes, to Shakespeare, the era of vaudeville, Charlie Chaplin, and 鈥淭he Daily Show,鈥� the play answers important fundamental questions such as 鈥渨hy, in fact, did the chicken cross the road?鈥� Tickets may be purchased through the PAC Box Office by phone (478-7999) or in person (847 Plant Drive), Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets also are available for purchase online at by clicking the eTix logo.
