Clay Target Team wins second consecutive national championship title

The Georgia Southern Clay Target Team won the 2022 Association of College Unions International Collegiate Clay Target National Championship. The team won four of the six categories they participated in.

秋葵视频鈥檚 Assistant Director of Service-Learning Urkovia Andrews, DrPH, is this year鈥檚 recipient o the national Nadinne Cruz Community Engagement Professional Award. This recognition is courtesy of Camus Compact, which is a network of colleges across the country dedicated to promoting and recognizing public work in higher education.

秋葵视频 Multimedia Development Center receives three professional Emmy庐 nominations

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Southeast Chapter has recognized 秋葵视频鈥檚 Multimedia Development Center (MDC) with three professional Emmy庐 nominations.

鈥淕eorgia Southern Robots鈥 and 鈥淭he Eagle has Landed鈥 both received a nomination in the Spanish language category. MDC Director Art Berger, Brianna Womack, Collin Crews, Ben Powell and Doug Thompson were nominated for the two short news features. Berger was also nominated for best director in the short form content category.

SOAR Team Wins Regional Awards

秋葵视频鈥檚 Southern Orientation, Advisement and Registration (SOAR) Team recently traveled to Greenville, North Carolina, to attend the Southern Regional Orientation Workshop (SROW) where they won several awards.

Georgia Southern Mock Mediation Club earns multiple awards

The Georgia Southern Mock Mediation Club recently competed at the International Intercollegiate Mediation in Des Moines, Iowa, winning a total of six awards, including ranking in the top 10 in mediation and advocacy in the world and fourth in all World Advocate awards.
