Republic of Moldova presents Georgia Southern foreign languages faculty member with medal

Georgia Southern Foreign Languages Professor Olga Amarie, Ph.D., discovered this after being awarded the Alexie Mateevici Commemorative Medal in July from her home country, the Republic of Moldova, a landlocked country located between Romania and Ukraine.

William Daniels brings textile exhibit to Georgia Southern Statesboro Campus
William Daniels鈥 textile exhibit 鈥淥n Pins and Needles鈥 will be on view from Sept. 24 to Oct. 26, and an artist talk will begin Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. in Arts Building, room 2071. A reception will follow at the Center for Art and Theatre from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
